DAY 1
'MY ARRIVAL IN PHILIPPINE'
‘None knows what will happen after
we taking a breathe’. It is a statement that always I keep in mind to describe
that everything has arranged by God without letting us know His plans. And it really
happened to me.
At
the first we are already informed that our flight to Philippine
will be started on August 11, but none knows that the earthquake just occurred in my homeland on 6th August until now. The earthquake destroyed almost 100% houses in Lombok island; nevertheless my house too. My house was totally destroyed. We’re homeless now, that’s why we have to live in a tent or camp with all the villagers. It is my hard and scary situation ever. On the other hand, I have to flight to Manila soon. Then it became the biggest decision in my life whether to continue this program or just stay at home.

Then it became the biggest decision in my life whether to continue this program or just stay at home.
Some
people do not support me, and some others support me. The ones who do not
support me see that if I continue this program, it’ll be a cruel decision since
I have to leave my family in a scary situation, while some others who support
me see that I have to go on, my education is really important. There will be no
more chance unless I take it now. Therefore, I choose to continue joining this
program with a though heart. I leave my family, and continue my flight on Saturday
,11th August. Then, my journey began that since that day.
My friends and I started the journey
by visiting Lombok international airport at 17.30 PM, and then our plane took
off at 8.30 PM. We then arrived at Kuala Lumpur at 11.30 M. During this
transit, we got some trouble as a part of our experiences. Our luggage was
misplaced by the officer. We could not sleep whole night, because we were
seeking the luggage until 3 AM. And then At 4 AM, we started to check in again
in KL for visiting Manilla.
Our flight to Manila took off at
8.30 am on 12 August, and we landed at Ninoy Airport approximately at 1.20 pm. Unfortunately,
we should wait for the one who has to pick us up until 18.30 pm. It was really
tiring day since I got fever and airsick. I was really sensitive on cold room
and I vomited all the time.
At 7 PM we then directly leaved Naia
Airport to continue our trip to Tarlac. I was really exhausted. From the
airport to Tarlac city, it took about 3 hours; and I got carsick. After having
a long journey, then we arrived at the hostel in where my friends and I should
stay. I directly asked the host to take me to the room since I wanted to take a
rest directly. I then was brought to room number 20 in the dorm. Then I
directly slept.
It was a short story about my
journey arrival in Phillipine. It was really impressive.
Here
is a short video that shows my long journey.
So that's my journey to Tarlac. Hopefully you'll enjoy my next posts.
