DAY 21
Welcome September… hopefully you’ll
be a great month! Today is September 1, and
it’s my 21st day in TAU.
In
my 21st day in TAU, My friends and I practiced dancing and singing
for ASEAN festival. We practiced Indonesian traditional dance that is
‘maru mere dance’, and also traditional songs from some islands in Indonesia such as Kalimantan, Maluku, and also Papua. We really enjoyed the dancing practice.

Besides practicing Indonesian
traditional song and dance, we also tried Philippine’s traditional dance. We
were really excited, even though the dance is little bit hard to try. The dance
named Tinikling dance, in which the woman and boy have to dance above the
moving bamboo. That is really cool, because it helps us to be more focus and
concentrate.
We started the practice at 9 AM, and
approximately at 12.30 PM we stopped it and we just had our lunch together with
Mas Rahmat from PPI (Persatuan Pertukaran Pelajar Filipina) or Indonesian
Students Exchange Association in Philippine. He came to visit us by bringing
Indonesian traditional costume and also some foods ingredients that we need in
the ASEAN festival.
In the afternoon, my friends and I
went to Camiling market for buying some foods and also some stuffs that we
need. We went there at 4 PM with our buddy by riding a bus. We were so happy.
Arriving at the market, we directly
bought things that we need. We also tried some street foods like isaw, turon,
and also crispy tofu. We bought coconut water, and it tastes really fresh.
Around 5 PM, we decided go back to Tarlac.
