PEDAGOGICAL CONTENTS



1.     Teaching Methods




During the teaching practice, the student teacher used some methods in teaching the students. The use of various methods in order to help the learners understands the learning materials   easily. The use of various methods also was aimed to make the students learn enjoy and not feel bored. Basically, the student teacher used modern method learning that was inductive-method in explaining the materials. The method aimed to build the students framework or understanding before come to the topics. The student teacher tried to create the teaching practice to the student-centered learning. The methods were also mixed with games and group activities in which the students have a fun learning.

2.     Learning Materials And Innovation




The learning materials source used when the student teacher taught the LS students were from the books and the internet. The materials from the internet here refer to the text used, pictures, as well as videos which used to build the students understanding.

3.     Sources of Learning And Technology


The use of technologies nowadays are really helpful in teaching. The student teacher kept trying to innovate the learning sources as well as media to teach the students. So, the teacher is needed to be more creative and innovative. The student teacher always tried to use technology during the teaching practice. The laptop, Flash/TV, boards, chalk, as well as paper were used to aid the learning process.

4.     Authentic Assessment


The assessments used during the teaching practice depend on the materials given to the students. The student teacher always gave the students printed assessment as well as the assignment which showed on the flash. There were 50 students in each classes, they were given printed assessments in free. And, if the assessments were shown on the board, the students just need to write the answers on the paper sheets.

5.     Class Management



Each class in TAU-LS consisted of 50 students, therefore it needs a good class management from the teacher. During my teaching practice, I always tried to manage the classroom activities in which the students participate actively. I always explained the materials with loud voice, as well as moved dynamically. Visiting the last bench is a must.
