DAY 28

‘MAKATI CITY TOUR’

Today we left TAU at 3 AM to go to the embassy. We left out from the hostel after saying goodbyes to our buddies and also the Thai girls. It was so sad moment, since we already loved each other. However, a good bye does not need to be hated.
After driving few hours to the embassy,
we then arrived. We directly took a rest and then prepared for going out to the green hills. We were accompanied and accommodated by the embassy very well.
We left out from the embassy was at 10 am, and we directly went to one of tourism spot in Makati city that was American cemetery. Overall, it was such a great tour since the place was really beautiful. We all enjoyed it a lot.

Around 12 pm, we went to the green hills. It was a very nice journey. Arriving there, we just directly took prayers in the mosque; and then having our lunch at one of ‘halal restaurant’ there. We were very excited, because the foods there were tasted Indonesian like. We loved it.
Because of enjoying the foods very much, I made mistake. I lost my concentrate and awareness. I lost my phone. I just remembered that the phone was just on the table in where I ate the foods. It was just like a dream, it lost so fast. I was so panicked and for sure I cried. Mas Rahmat, as our buddy, the member of Students exchange association in Philippine tried to make me feel well. However, I was out of control. I did not want to leave the restaurant unless my phone back.
Fortunately, there was a muslim man  came into the restaurant. He asked what happened. Then he said ‘wait for 5 minutes, I will help you to find it, inshaallah’. While waiting the man with doubt and sadness, we tried some ways to seek the phone by using GPS as well as Mi cloud. The saddest one was, I did not remember my Philippine’s number and I did not have any data for internet connection. It was impossible to seek it by using GPS. It was 1% possible to get it back.
But with Almighty God willing and help, I did not clearly saw who brought my phone back. But the waitress just gave the phone back. I was very thankful and very relieved. I did not want to have a negative thinking that the restaurant staffs would hide it from me. The important thing was, my phone back and I have to be careful in every situation. I have to build my awareness more and more.

After that incident, we directly went to the mall and market for buying souvenirs. It was a very amazing day. We bought all we needs and it finished at 5 pm. Then, we got back to the embassy.
